Some disconnected thoughts

Internal Revenue Service (IRS) revenue officer (responsible for collecting delinquent taxes, surveying unreported taxes and securing delinquent returns) Andrea Fabiana Orellana failed to report $41,842 in income from sales of designer clothing and shoes on EBay. Basically, Orellana claimed these sales were not a business but an online garage sale.  (She did not keep any receipts so the government had to go to EBay and PayPal for her sales, http://lawyeronlinenow.info/Part-3-3/gross-proceeds-paid-to-attorney-1262/ )

Bet if you or I sold nearly $42,000 on EBay, revenue officers of the IRS would be all over us like white on rice.

Comedy Central edited the second part of a 'South Park' episode after the first episode aired and a Revolutionary Muslin website (since taken down) threatened that the creators of the show would find themselves like Theo Van Gogh (murdered by Muslim extremists). So, now all of the verbal references to 'Prophet Muhammad' were bleeped out and any picture (Muhammad was represented by someone in a bear costume) was covered from view by a large block labeled 'censored.'

Evidently, the US free speech clause doesn't apply when Islamic Extremists make threats of violence because we all know that they will carry out their threats.

According to Philly.com, the race for the 182nd state House district is getting testy. Seems the incumbent, Babette Josephs, has 'outed' her primary competition in the race, Gregg Kravitz, by saying that he is STRAIGHT, not bisexual. Apparently, in those parts of Pennsylvania (Center City), it counts more to be gay than straight when running for office. And accusing your opponent of being straight is a sure-fire way getting more votes!

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi called a Capitol Hill press conference to announce new lights in the House cafeteria! Wow and for the not-so-bargain-basement price of $140,000 of our tax dollars! "Oh, you ought to see them. They are new and shiny and provide light! Plus, they didn't cost me anything politically.", Pelosi said according to a fictitious source. These lights are GREEN so BY GOD you will like them!

According to the provided propagandist, Stephen Ayers, the installation includes motion sensors and automatic window shades along with $300 light fixtures. $300 for a light fixture? And it used to be $800. Oh, and all of this will pay for itself in just 10 years.

What was wrong with the old lighting system? Wasn't it installed within the past 20 years? Oh, and BTW, be careful of all of that really deadly mercury. You will have to call in hazardous waste specialist if one of those bulbs break. Oh, and BTW, I believe the lights don't have a ten year lifespan so they will have to replaced before they are paid for, right?

These are just a few of the news stories I followed over the past few days. All basically point to the way American life has changed during my lifetime.

• Federal revenue employees know the system and try to cheat on their taxes (Timothy F. Geithner, Secretary of the Treasury. Tax Cheat - got caught but that's OK. He's a Demoncrat.)
• Islamic Extremist threatening US citizens and all that happens is further Constitution rights restrictions because God knows we are a Muslim nation (quote from the Anointed One, POTUS B. H. Obama)
• Gay before Straight rights where you should vote for gays to show how enlightened and politically correct you are
• Green Movement where everyone must be Green or they are the DEVIL and EVIL INCARNATE whose only purpose in life is to deny anthropogenic global warming and destroy the environment and all of God's living creatures just to make a buck

I could go on but why bother? We are falling into an abyss of apathy, allowing the Federales to have too much power over our daily lives. But, what can we do?
