Wow. A principal at Woodland Middle School in Hentry County, Georgia, recently invited rapper "T.I." Harris to be the assembly speaker on anti bullying.
Gee. Wasn't he a convicted felon who has done FEDERAL time?
Seems that a parent, Tom Myers, was surprised when his daughter told him that this CONVICTED FELON, TI Harris, spoke at her assembly. Outraged? Definitely justified. So, Mr. Myers sent an email to the principal.
Woodland's principal, Dr. Terry Oatts, replied, "I thought about asking a guy who snorted cocaine and got arrested for DUI when he was 30 to come and speak to our kids, but President George W. Bush was not available."
Oatts went on to write in the exchanges with Myers that even the president made mistakes when he was young, and that T.I.'s messages to the students was 'to take their education seriously, put forth their best effort, pursue their dreams and not engage in bullying.'
In fairness, many of the far left socialist readers of NBC's channel 11 in Atlanta seem to think the principal was correct in defaming President Bush and supporting the CONVICTED FELON T.I. Harris.
Go friggin' figure.
