Yep. We could nominate Romney as the liberal alternative to the socialist Obama.
I've said before that I will NOT vote for Romney. I stand by that.
Call me a traitor to the party. Guess what? I'm not a Republican party member!
Say that I'm re-electing the ultra-progressive, almost-communist Obama if I don't support the Republican party. Guess what? I'm a Conservative with a capital 'C' and feel that having an Eastern, Liberal, mostly Progressive, supporter of state-mandated health coverage, ultra-bloody-rich candidate like Romney is nothing short of voting for Obama anyway.
Don't form a third-party because that will Destroy the two-party system in the US. Guess what, Bubba. It's pretty much trashed now with the ultra-leftist Demoncratic party and the mostly-leftist Republican party both being Big Government, Spend More Than it Earns, Statists.
If the Republicans decide to nominate Romney, an Eastern, Liberal, mostly Progressive, supporter of state-mandated health coverage, ultra-bloody-rich Statist candidate such as, oh say, Mitt Romney, then that party no longer represents the moral values, small government, and social issues that the majority of Americans support. And just because many Americans don't really care/understand/know about the politics doesn't really mean that a far-left agenda by both parties is representative of reality.
Get the professional politicians out of government. Let the farmers, shop keepers, and normal, regular working stiffs go to Washington, Albany, Austin, Sacramento, Boise, etc. to make the laws and get the overwhelming burden of government off of the people.
No vote for Romney. No vote for Obama. I will vote for Conservatives in whatever costume they may be wearing.
