The insanity continues every day in every airport in the USA. Soon, it will be in every bus station, every train station, every rental car agency, every car dealership, every gas station. The TSA is set to become the worst nightmare that citizens of the USA can imagine.
And they will respond with, "Don't worry. We are just following orders." and "We are here to keep you safe."
Some folks will remember back in the late 1940's when the Allied Powers (that would be the United States of America, the British Empire [England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, and others], France, and the Soviet Union) tried the war criminals of Nazi Germany. The most common defense expressed by the defendants consisted of saying, "Ich habe folgende bestellungen!" {I was following orders!}
You may also remember back in the early 1930's when the National Socialist were just beginning to gain power in the Weinmar Republic. The brown shirts (SA) used tactics we see used today by some of the unions in our country. Always the mantra, "For the common good!" Then, they weed out the undesirables; those who need help the most or those who do not agree with the 'right' politicians or the 'right' way of doing things. They are only here to keep you safe, don't you know?
And if you think it won't happen in the USA like it did in pre-World War II Germany, think again. Look what happened in 1942-45 when our Progressive government unlawfully imprisoned large numbers of our own citizens! Remember the government-built, government-run internment camps? With absolutely no Constitutional authority and by-passing the absolute rights of those individuals, the Roosevelt administration forced Americans of Japanese descent into cramped quarters. That government also allowed the property of these CITIZENS to be confiscated, stolen, and destroyed. That Progressive government just said, "We are here to keep you safe."
The current TSA is a symptom of a larger problem. The entire alphabet of Federales agencies are becoming power-abusers and are willing to trample on our rights - completely without cause!
The EPA - destroy private industries they don't like.
The DEA - use of deadly force authorized even if they went to the wrong address.
The BATF - everyone is a domestic terrorist if they have a gun.
And the entire Federales government (currently) really doesn't like states that succeed on their own (Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona, Alaska, and others) and want to destroy them.
Sorry, this little rant is starting to get away from my point here. And that is the TSA is abusing the rights of American citizens each and every day. Only the most egregious and the most "news worthy" abuses are even reported!
Bottom line: The TSA MUST GO AWAY! The Federales government needs to shrink. Where are the defenders of the Constitution?
