Arizona and Illegal Immigration Follow-up

Two interesting developments I noticed about the new Arizona Senate Bill 1070 that have, what I believe, a quite large significance.

First, according to myFoxPhoenix.com, riot police were called out to control an unruly group of SB 1070 protesters. The group, not identified, began a fight with a single man who supported the legislation. When the police tried to escort the man away, the protesting group began to pelt the man, and police, with various items including water bottles.

Now who do you think was doing that violence? My humble opinion is that either a group of illegal aliens who figure they’re going home soon, a group of leftist, liberal, demonic statist who have the wrong idea about everything, or maybe even a group of union thugs brought in from Chicago. Whoever they were, that group of dirt bags believe that physical attacks on those who do not support their views are completely justified for anyone who is not an Obama/Democrat supporter. Disgusting, isn’t it? Disagree with the left’s views and you are going to be physically assaulted.

The second development I thought worth mentioning comes from the NY Times. (Yes, I even watch the news items from this leftist newspaper.) Evidently, the Climate Bill (better known as Cap, Tax, and Control) lost support from the sole Republican Senator, Lindsey Graham.

You see, even Senator Graham noticed that the immigration bill in Arizona is causing the statist (Obama and Reid) to rush immigration reform so they don’t lose a “serious crisis” opportunity. Obviously, Graham was promised that his bill (along with Senator Scary John Kerry [who served in Viet Nam] and Senator Joseph ‘I can’t make up my mind which party I am in’ Lieberman) would be the next major news item. They even had grandiose plans on releasing the details of the Climate Bill next Monday.

But since the “serious crisis” of immigration raised its head, Senator Dirty Harry Reid decided that he would present his bill on Immigration Reform (better known as the Harry Reid Catch and Release and then Amnesty Bill) so it could be rushed through the Senate. Of course, Senator Graham is also expected to be a big supporter of Amnesty so Reid surely thought it would be OK to push something else down our throats.

I am actually really happy. Both of these bills (Climate Change and Immigration Reform) are simply additional ways of CONTROLLING and TAXING the American people to support the ever growing Federales. I would love to see neither bill get out of the Senate let alone get signed by our Socialist President BHO.
