My Grassroots Campaign Starts Today

I have decided that the nation's future is in my hands and I must do something about it.

So, today, I have started. My first action began by making a plan of action! Here's my outline for changing the future:
  1. Write my county commissioner. Tell him/her that my taxes are too high. The county needs to take drastic action to REDUCE spending, STOP increasing taxes, and quit worrying about getting re-elected.
  2. Write my state representative and senator. Tell each of them to STOP SPENDING, REDUCE taxes, and quit worrying about getting re-elected.
  3. Write my governor. Tell him to REDUCE spending, cut budgets, quit proposing new spending, do not approve new taxes, and quit worrying about getting re-elected.
  4. Write my US representative. Tell him to fight in Congress to support lower taxes, lower spending, REDUCE federal budgets, reduce the size of the federal government, stop creating more bureaucracies, and quit worrying about getting re-elected.
  5. Write my US Senators. Express my contempt about massive spending bills, raising taxes, increasing federal wages, and quit worrying about getting re-elected.
Although I seriously doubt anyone at any level of our representative democracy will listen (or even read my comments), I will continue to bombard each level of government on a weekly basis to convince them to reduce government spending at the local, state, and federal levels.

I have already started with step 1. I will continue down the line, writing each one once per week, until I am told to shut up, the police start knocking at my door, or the uncontrollable spending stops.
